2016-2017 MANAWATU TOYOTA & TRC TOYOTA W.P.K.A GOLDSTAR SERIES
After a number of years of supporting the Goldstar series Manawatu Toyota and TRC Toyota with the assistance of Toyota Racing New Zealand have come on board as naming right sponsors for the next 2 years.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside Brendon Hart and his team at Manawatu Toyota and TRC Toyota to promote this series and it’s philosophy to find the next world class drivers.
Toyota Racing New Zealand have added value to the partnership by offering TR 86 hot laps, along with a social media competition for the younger racers with merchandise prizes and give aways.
Each round we will be giving out trophy’s in recognition to all classes.
Once again WPKA with the assistance of Supreme Kart Supplies (Maurice and Kaine Frost) and Gary Douglas Engineers are offering the winners of Cadet ROK and Vortex Mini ROK a drive at a signature race event in Australia with the help of Tony Kart Australia.
Alongside both Toyota and WPKA Facebook promotions, we have set up a new App which can be downloaded from the App Store. This is something new for the karting community offering entry forms, updated points, time tables, sponsors etc… [search Kartsport Manawatu in App store].
We are excited what this new feature will add to the series. The information which we can add to the App is endless.
• The Series is a cost effective weekend with practice from Saturday 11am, no pre testing week prior;
• Teching done all day to speed the finishing time up to allow travellers time to get home;
• Summer time racing;
