Michelia Church Mouse
- New Release -
Michelia are one of the jewels of the late winter and early spring period. There are some well known varieties such as yunnanensis, ‘gracipes’ and ‘velvet & cream’.
For most of the year they are deep green and relatively dense in structure. They are an ideal plant that provides ‘bones’ or form and structure to a garden. They can be grown and trained as a hedge or topiary. An exciting new variety to add to the fold is the dwarf growing ‘Church Mouse’. It reaches a height of 1m and a width of 70cm. This makes it ideal for a small garden space, patio area as well as container growing.
Church Mouse while tidy and compact in foliage and growth habit, is profuse and abundant in its flowering. Deliciously fragrant white blooms smother the plant providing a show worth seeing and smelling.
Best in a full sun or part shade situation ‘Church Mouse’ will thrive in any fertile, free draining spot. Like all Michelia it is tolerant to medium frosts.
A New Release there are only limited numbers of ‘church mouse’ available for sales so don’t miss out.
