Today is World Bee Day and to celebrate, we're sharing a beautiful update from our Saving the Wild Beekeeping Project in Kenya, where our goal is to restore balance to the Kimana Wildlife Corridor and create a future where wildlife and people can live together in harmony.
Together with Saving the Wild, we're on a mission to help preserve one of nature's most wild places and what started with just 200 hives, has now turned into our very first harvest from the region, with profits from the sale of the Saving the Wild honey being used to fund scholarships for children of the local Maasai land owners, which is an investment in the future guardians of this great, wild place.
Check out our recent update on the project, featuring the driving force behind and founder of Saving the Wild, Jamie Joseph. We are so grateful to work alongside Jamie and the Saving the Wild team, and to create a world where bees and people thrive in harmony.
