A big hill ride yesterday! Tired crew by the end....
We’ve been entrusted with the ‘legend’ (as the commentator called him this weekend when he was zooming around the 2* at Kihikihi) Tonka - the blingy pony - to get some fitness into him. I bought him many years ago as a 2yo off Trade Me, and sold him as one of the few ponies jumping 3* (the old 2*) eventing tracks! Lucy loved her ride on him, such a fun chap.
I rode my 4yo Sox, who is getting much braver, and always a gentleman.
Oli tagged along after swimming sports on a very happy Pedro Pony.
And last but not least, the one who IS for sale - the bay, 4yo Roy (see album for full details). He started a little fresh after his long weekend but very quickly settled, and was great about having a trot or canter along then returning to walk. He’s not perfect/unflappable but he is sensible and not a twat!
