First and foremost - our thoughts and well wishes go to all those affected by the massive earthquake in the early hours of this morning.

In so far as deliveries of tea from TEA TOTAL into the affected areas is concerned, we are working with our courier company to make sure we do the best we can to get your parcel to you in good time.

Below is an official statement from Courier Post:

"CourierPost has been assessing sites in the area affected by last night’s earthquake. In Christchurch, Blenheim and Wellington, sorting and delivery functions had to be suspended until buildings and roads were assessed.

Christchurch was already dealing with a backlog from Friday's Show Day Holiday, and there will be limited deliveries occurring over the course of today.

Cook Strait ferry sailings have been cancelled and there are road closures between Picton and Christchurch. This means there will be delays to the transportation and delivery of courier items for our Overnight Priority products moving in and out of the upper South Island to and from the upper North Island, and our Economy products moving between the North and South Islands.

In Wellington there are currently no courier deliveries to businesses in the central business district and Petone; however these are expected to resume later today."

We thank you for your patience and for working with us during this time.

From all of us at TEA TOTAL - stay safe.
