Local hand in Pink Shirt Day t-shirt design

Tahlia Armstrong, Design Graduate from Massey University and Store Manager at Queensgate Shopping Centre Cotton On, has designed this year's Official Pink Shirt Day t-shirt. Only open to Cotton On employees, Tahlia entered the t-shirt design competition as an opportunity to mix her design skills with work. This year’s Pink Day t-shirt design draws on inspiration from the rainbow as the focus point, “Pink Shirt Day is about being inclusive, so having different elements such as fonts and colours was a must” said Tahlia. Pink Shirt Day works to create schools, workplaces, communities and whānau where everyone feels safe, valued and respected. Cotton On donates 100% of the net proceeds from the t-shirts sales to the Mental Health Foundation to raise awareness about bullying prevention.
