Our thoughts are with everyone in Kaikoura and Mid Canterbury as they deal with the challenges of the recent earthquake and the clean up. We certainly shared the motions of the earthquake but were fortunate to not receive any damage.

Quality Inn Nelson is open and business is as normal, along with the remainder of the Nelson region following the recent earthquakes.

Nelson Tasman Tourism have also confirmed all attractions and activities, including within the ever-popular Abel Tasman National Park, are operational, and accommodation continues to be available throughout, as normal.

Nelson continues to be well-connected with the rest of New Zealand as Nelson Airport and Port Nelson experienced no interruptions.

Road and inter-island sea travellers should refer to the following for the most up-to-date information: NZTransportAgency, Bluebridge and Interislander.

The best place for visitor information is the Nelson i-Site on Halifax Street or via our website http://www.nelsonnz.com or facebook pages: Ilovenelsontasman or Nelsoni-SITE

Or you are welcome to contact our reception team on 03 548 2089 or enquiries@qualityinnnelson.co.nz and we can answer or assist with any questions you may have. #eqnz
